Here we are again, after 3 months since our last update.
Soon after the great progress Geni had since his return from Poland, we slowly started noticing that Geni was gaining back all the symptoms and even worse. At first, we thought it was because he was maybe over doing it with the physiotherapy. Unfortunately, it wasnt the case. We quickly started looking for a doctor that could treat him, but it’s very hard to find one who accepts treating a patient who got the intervention in Poland. When we finally did, Geni was rushed to the emergency because he had a blood clot, (a common effect among patients who got the CCSVI treatment). This explained why he was feeling as bad as before; his veins were blocked again! The doctors prescribed blood thinners to help reduce the clot. After 1 month on medication, the situation didn’t get any better or worse but we weren't getting anywhere.
A few weeks ago, Geni went to see a doctor, but got little encouragement and no hope. Not satisfied with this, the following week Geni had another appointment with a doctor that has treated 46 patients from the CCSVI treatment. She prescribed a different blood thinner and said that we should see results within 3 weeks.

Voici des nouvelles après trois mois de silence.
Après le grand progrès de l’état de santé de Geni depuis son retour de la Pologne, nous avions constaté le retour des symptômes de sa maladie mais empirés. Au début, nous pensions que c’était à cause de la physiothérapie. Malheureusement ce n’était pas le cas. Nous avions vite cherché un docteur qui voudrait bien le traiter. Mais nous savions qu’il était très difficile d’en trouver un qui veuille bien suivre un patient qui eut une intervention en Pologne. Finalement après avoir trouvé un docteur, Geni s’était retrouvé aux urgences dû à un caillou sanguin, ce qui expliqua son état faible. Ses veines étaient encore bouchées. Le docteur a prescrit des anticoagulants. Après un mois de prise de médicaments, son état de santé ne s’est ni amélioré, ni empiré.
Geni a eu un peu d’espoir et d’encouragement après avoir voir vu un docteur il y a de cela quelques semaines. N’étant pas très satisfait, Geni a eu un rendez-vous avec un autre docteur qui a traité 46 patients qui avaient un traitement de CCSVI.
Elle a prescrit des anticoagulants différents; le docteur a dit que d’ici trois semaines, nous verrons peut-être des changements. Donc voilà où nous en sommes.
